The original creditor attempting to collect the debt did not provide me access to my account to make the payment within the time frame allotted before submitting the amount to collections. I attempted submitting payment prior to the final date provided before they submitted the amount to collections, and I was no longer able to access the payment portal to make the payment. I reached out to support over email and did not receive a response until well after the time frame to make the payment had passed, and no support was provided other than being told the amount had already been submitted to collections. This company also then never returned my security deposit, which exceeded the amount that is being reported as owed. The apartment was left in clean condition with no physical damages, so there was no reason to have not received the deposit back.

I recently received a debt collection notice from your office. I am writing to verify that you have contacted the correct individual and to request that you provide documentation confirming this. Please supply me with a copy of any contract or agreement signed with your company or the original creditor. In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I request the following information : 1. The name and address of the original creditor and the current creditor. 2. Verification of the debt amount you are seeking to collect, including evidence that a contract exists creating the amount you claim is owed. 3. Documentation of all assignments showing the transfer of the debt from the original creditor to the current creditor. 4. Proof that the original creditor securitized the debt. 5. Documentation showing the assignments of the debt from the original creditor to the secured trust and then back to the original creditor. Please cease and desist from collecting on this debt until you have provided validation of the debt. Additionally, I request that you do not access my credit report or report anything to my credit bureaus. I dispute the validity of this debt amount, and this dispute should be reflected on my credit report if you have already reported this debt. Permissible Purpose Please state your permissible purpose for accessing my credit information. I dispute your right to do so. Notification to Other Collectors I dispute that I owe this debt to you. Should you transfer this debt to another collector, please inform them of my dispute regarding the validity of this debt. Thank you for your prompt attention to this

I am disputing this apartment collection because I believe the debt is inaccurate and has not been properly validated. I requested documentation showing how the balance was calculated and proof that I am legally responsible for the amount being collected, but the collector has not provided sufficient evidence. I request that the collection agency provide a complete itemized accounting of the alleged debt, copies of the lease agreement, move-out statement, any invoices for damages or charges, and documentation showing they have the legal authority to collect this debt. If they can not verify the debt with proper documentation, I request that all collection efforts cease and that any reporting to the credit bureaus be corrected or removed. I also ask that this account be marked as disputed while the investigation is pending. I am requesting a fair and thorough investigation in accordance with applicable federal law.

I am filing this complaint because several collection accounts continue to be reported on my consumer credit reports. I dispute the accuracy and completeness of these accounts and have concerns that they are being reported without sufficient verification. I request that each collection agency provide competent evidence that I have a legal obligation to pay the alleged debt, including the original signed agreement, a complete itemized accounting of the balance, proof of assignment or ownership of the debt, and documentation establishing their legal authority to collect and report the account. If the collection agencies or furnishers can not provide this documentation, I request that these accounts be deleted from my credit reports in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I also request that all credit reporting agencies update my credit files to accurately reflect the results of the investigation.

This debt collector has done unjustifiable practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. they didn't follow the proper 5-step validation procedure. According to the FDCPA, Im entitled to compensation for these violations and clearly, they violated my rights and abused my privileges. I demand this account be taken off immediately.
