Attempts to collect debt not owed: Debt collection

I am writing to formally demand that you immediately stop contacting me regarding the alleged debt you are attempting to collect. I dispute the validity of this debt, and I do not authorize any further calls, letters, emails, or other communication from your company. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), 15 U.S.C. 1692c ( c ), once a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing to cease communication, you are legally obligated to comply. Continuing to contact me or report this alleged debt after this notice would be considered a willful violation of federal law.
