Attempts to collect debt not owed: Debt collection

The vehicle in question was stolen and wrecked by the suspect. The suspect was arrested. The truck was charged off and gap insurance was supposed to cover the remaining balance. The company has been charging me late payments showing im still in possession of the vehicle. I dont have the vehicle it was repossessed over 8 years ago. This has been negative on my credit for this whole time showing late payments when the vehicle was charged off.
