Closing an account: Checking or savings account

I opened a savings account with Bank of America and deposited $1000.00. But BoA closed my account because they mistakenly assumed fraud activity. I already called them and clarified that it is not fraud. They said they will send a check for the remaining fund from the closed savings account. However I never received the check. I tried to contact the closing account department of BoA, but I can never reach out to them
