Closing an account: Checking or savings account

PayPal 's automated system is refusing to close my account, and they do not provide a customer service email. I am formally invoking my privacy rights to delete my data. My account was scammed and I have already verified my identity to Paypal several times to have my account closed. They have a list of ridiculous things they want me to do before they will close my account, like sending them a photo of myself.
