Closing an account: Checking or savings account

After spending several hours on the phone being hung up on and asked nonsensical verification questions such as the height of an individual that does not exist and is not on the account, I chatted in and then was told, quote, no one can help, unquote. This is after yesterday they said they had an overnight check coming that did not arrive today. They are refusing and failing to provide a tracking number and telling me, quote, no one can help, unquote, and wasting hours of my time.
