Communication tactics: Debt collection

Meridian Financial is attempting to collect a debt on behalf of my timehsare company. I * have multiple attempts to communicated with them to explain that this debt is disputed, but my efforts are ignored. Meridian Fi8nancial has made no attempts to validate the debt or provide proof that they have the legal right to collect it. Ignoring a consumer does not result in payment, and their lack of response is creating an unfair financial burden. They need to cease all collection efforts immediately, remove any negative marks they placed on my credit reports, and return this account to the original creditor. It is stressful to deal with a collection agency that refuses to engage in a proper dispute process. I request that your office look into these practices and help me ensure that my credit profile is corrected and these collection actions stop.
