Incorrect information on your report: Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports
I am disputing these accounts because they are not associated with any transaction I made or authorized, and I do not recognize them as obligations belonging to me. I did not provide express written consent for my information to be reported in connection with these accounts, which raises concerns under 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( 2 ). Consumer reporting agencies are entrusted with handling sensitive consumer information and have a responsibility to maintain accurate records and respect consumer privacy. Reporting accounts that are unrelated to a consumer can undermine the reliability of the credit reporting system and cause serious harm. Because these accounts have no connection to any transaction made or authorized by me, I believe this matter raises concerns involving identity theft under 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2. I request that the disputed information be thoroughly investigated and that any accounts or related information that can not be verified as belonging to me be removed from my consumer report.
