Incorrect information on your report: Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports
I am filing this complaint because my credit report contains personal information that is inaccurate, outdated, or does not belong to me. This includes identifying information such as names, addresses, employers, or other personal data that I did not provide or that should no longer be associated with my credit file. I have disputed these inaccuracies, but they continue to appear despite my requests for correction. Inaccurate personal information increases the risk of a mixed credit file, identity errors, and the reporting of accounts that may not belong to me. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), credit reporting agencies are required to maintain maximum possible accuracy. Continuing to report incorrect personal information after it has been disputed is unacceptable and places me at unnecessary financial risk.
