Incorrect information on your report: Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports
I discovered multiple inaccurate and inconsistent items on my credit reports that I believe are being reported in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). The accounts contain conflicting information among Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion, including differences in payment history, account status, and dates. Some hard inquiries also appear on my reports without a permissible purpose or authorization. I disputed these items and requested a reasonable investigation, correction or deletion of any information that could not be verified, and removal of obsolete addresses from my credit file. I also requested the method of verification ( MOV ), including the documents and procedures used to verify the disputed information if the companies claim it is accurate. Despite my dispute, the inaccurate and inconsistent information continues to appear on my credit reports. This inaccurate reporting is negatively affecting my credit score and my ability to obtain credit on fair terms. I am requesting that the company comply with its obligations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act by conducting a reasonable investigation, correcting or deleting any information that can not be verified, and removing obsolete personal information from my credit file.
