Opening an account: Checking or savings account

I received a brochure in the mail to open a ( $500.00 ) Citizen Checking and ( $300.00 ) Savings account for a promotional bonus. I entered the website as indicated on the brochure for account opening. It was misleading when I had to specifically open Checking and Savings account but it included a Money Market Account as part of the promotional opening page and so I opened it. 2 months later, I found out it wasn't part of the promotional bonus when I called their customer service. I find this misleading as how it is part of the account opening process for a promotional bonus, thus losing out on $300.00. There was nothing they could do to change it and I had to close the account.
