Opening an account: Checking or savings account

I was displaced from a ceiling collapse, statefarm wrote checks from usbank addressed to me. They refused to cash the checks unless I opened an account. Ive been with them about a month now. Ive had to have 3 checks from statefarm/usbank cashed/deposited. Every check theres different issues. First check i was forced to open an account i didnt want. The second check i could only deposit. The third check i couldn't cash with my id and checking account debit card without verifying with my phone which I didnt have at the time and was forced to leave and come back with my phone. Then at the end of the transaction they refused to give me a receipt and said they dont give receipt for cashing checks through my account. So I asked to close the account which she denied and I had to leave dissatisfied.
