Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem: Credit reporting or other personal consumer reports
I am submitting this response to formally and aggressively dispute your false and unsupported claim that my previous request was not submitted by me. This assertion is inaccurate, negligent, and appears to be an intentional tactic to avoid your legal obligations. This dispute was filed directly by me, the consumer, and not by any third party. I am not working with any credit repair organization, credit counseling agency, or outside company of any kind. Your repeated use of a generic, scripted responsewithout conducting an actual investigationconstitutes a blatant violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Under FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681i ), you are required to : - Conduct a reasonable investigation of all disputed information - Review all relevant evidence I submit - Provide the method of verification, including : 1. The name and contact information of the furnisher 2. The method used to verify the disputed information 3. Copies of all documents relied upon Your continued refusal to process my dispute, despite receiving proper documentation, is not only unlawfulit demonstrates clear negligence, bad faith, and repeated non-compliance with federal consumer protection statutes. To eliminate any excuse for your failures, I have provided full identity verification, including my government-issued ID and proof of address. You now have no legitimate or lawful reason to deny or dismiss my dispute. Your repeated closures of my disputes with identical, copy-and-paste language is unacceptable, unlawful, and a direct violation of your duties under federal law.
