Written notification about debt: Debt collection
I am submitting this complaint because Jefferson Capital Systems is reporting a collection account that I dispute. I request a reasonable investigation and that the company provide competent documentary evidence establishing its legal right to collect and report this account. Specifically, I request the complete chain of title, bill of sale, purchase schedule identifying my account, assignment documents, original signed agreement, complete payment history, itemized accounting, date of first delinquency, and documentation supporting the accuracy and completeness of all information furnished to the consumer reporting agencies. If Jefferson Capital Systems can not fully substantiate this account with competent evidence, I request that it immediately cease furnishing the account and request its deletion from all consumer reporting agencies. Requested Resolution I respectfully request that the CFPB require Jefferson Capital Systems to : ( 1 ) conduct a complete investigation ; ( 2 ) provide all documentation supporting its ownership and authority to collect and report the account ; ( 3 ) delete the account from all consumer reporting agencies if it can not be fully substantiated ; ( 4 ) correct any inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information ; ( 5 ) cease furnishing information that can not be verified ; and ( 6 ) provide the results of its investigation in writing. This request is made pursuant to my rights under applicable provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ).
