Attempts to collect debt not owed: Debt collection

I have reviewed the attached documentation provided by LVNV Funding LLC and Resurgent Capital Services in response to my dispute. The materials provided consist primarily of an account summary prepared by Resurgent Capital Services on behalf of LVNV Funding LLC, together with a credit card statement. While these documents contain account information, they do not fully address the issues raised in my dispute. Specifically, I requested documentation demonstrating LVNV Funding LLC 's legal right to collect this specific account, including documentation showing that this account was included in any transfer or sale from the original creditor. The account summary references an acquisition date and identifies LVNV Funding LLC as the current owner, but it does not provide the underlying documentation supporting those assertions. In addition, I requested proof that the collector is properly licensed and authorized to collect debts in Indiana. No documentation responsive to that request has been provided. I acknowledge receipt of the account summary and statement ; however, I continue to dispute the debt and request documentation sufficient to establish LVNV Funding LLC 's ownership of and authority to collect on this specific account. Until such documentation is provided, I respectfully request that the CFPB keep this matter open and note that my dispute remains unresolved.
