Closing an account: Checking or savings account

I opened a truist account a few months ago. Shortly after some of my direct deposit was going into this account bi-weekly. We filed for bankruptcy 2 weeks ago and apparently without notice truist closed the account and my direct deposit did not go in. They said we will be notified and it was closed because I am now a risk. Not sure how I'm a risk when I had direct deposit going in and no overdraft. They never told me this they just closed the account without my knowledge and now I have to wait for the money that was supposed to go in truist to bounce back to my employer. No overdraft, direct deposit every 2 weeks but because of the bankruptcy I'm now a risk. It's not right what they did or how they did it. We were told we will be notified but it's a little late.
