Fraud or scam: Money transfer, virtual currency, or money service

I was buying tickets on the phone with the seller, and they showed me confirmation that they had the tickets and they were ready to transfer and before I sent full amount I test sent them a $1.00 which they verified they received. After sending full amount they denied receiving money and would no longer respond without transferring tickets.
