Incorrect information on your report: Credit card

I am requesting a goodwill review of the late payment ( s ) reported on my credit report for my Navy Federal Credit Union account. I experienced a temporary financial hardship that affected my ability to make payments on time. During that period, I was doing everything I could to keep up with my financial obligations while facing circumstances that were beyond my normal financial situation. Since then, I have brought my account current and have remained committed to honoring my obligations. I value my relationship with Navy Federal and appreciate the assistance your organization provides to its members. I am not disputing the accuracy of the reported late payment ( s ). Rather, I am respectfully requesting a one-time goodwill adjustment to remove the late payment history from my credit reports. This negative reporting continues to significantly impact my credit score and my ability to obtain affordable financing, despite my efforts to recover financially and maintain my account in good standing. I respectfully ask that you review my account history, consider my overall payment record, and determine whether a goodwill adjustment is appropriate. I appreciate your time and consideration and hope you will grant this request.
