I contacted Wells Fargo today about paying off my balance. They refused to give me a payoff amount, stating they could not determine what my amount would be and that it is not their policy to give that out. I asked them, because they know my interest rate and what the balance was, why they could not calculate this, and I was told repeatedly that they could not give it. I submitted the complaint. They also tried to ask me about my finances, about whether I was having trouble paying the payments or anything, and I said no. I wanted to just pay off the amount, and they told me that they could not help me.
