Problems at the end of the loan or lease: Vehicle loan or lease

I am requesting assistance with a GAP insurance refund issue involving Wells Fargo. After refinancing my auto loan, Wells Fargo issued a GAP refund check in the amount of $880.00. The check was made payable to both myself and my former co-signer. The vehicle title and registration are now solely in my name. I no longer have a relationship or contact with my former co-signer. Wells Fargo informed me that they have attempted to contact her but have been unsuccessful. I have also attempted to resolve the matter. I was able to reach out to her, and she responded stating that she would not cooperate or assist with resolving the GAP refund. I have contacted Wells Fargo by phone and visited a branch, but I have not been provided with a clear resolution process. I was told that the funds would remain unresolved because the co-signers authorization is needed. I understand that the check was issued to two payees, but I am requesting that Wells Fargo provide a formal review and explain what options are available when one payee refuses to participate and the check remains uncashed. I am requesting that Wells Fargo : * Review my case through the appropriate department. * Provide a written explanation of their policy for this situation. * Explain whether the outstanding check can be stopped, canceled, reissued, or otherwise resolved. * Provide a clear path forward instead of leaving the funds inaccessible indefinitely. I am attaching documentation showing my attempts to resolve this matter and my former co-signers response refusing to cooperate.
