Unauthorized transactions or other transaction problem: Money transfer, virtual currency, or money service
I am filing a complaint regarding Wells Fargo 's handling of unauthorized transactions on my debit/credit card account. I discovered charges from an app or service that I did not authorize. When I reported the transactions, Wells Fargo informed me that the purchases were made through a digital wallet and denied my fraud claim. However, I do not recognize these transactions, I did not authorize them, and I can not find these purchases in any digital wallet account that I own or use. Wells Fargo has not provided sufficient evidence showing that I authorized these transactions. Simply stating that a digital wallet was used does not prove that I made the purchases. I requested additional information regarding the investigation, including details about the digital wallet enrollment, the device used, and the basis for their decision, but I have not received a satisfactory explanation. Additionally, during my attempt to discuss the denial and seek clarification, the Wells Fargo representative disconnected the call without resolving my concerns. I am requesting that Wells Fargo : Reopen and reinvestigate my fraud claim. Provide all documentation and evidence used to deny my claim. Identify the digital wallet allegedly used, including when the card was added and the device information associated with it. Explain how they determined that the transactions were authorized by me. Refund any transactions determined to be unauthorized. I believe the investigation was incomplete and that my dispute was improperly denied. I am requesting assistance in obtaining a fair review of my claim and a detailed explanation of the bank 's findings. Thank you for your assistance.
