Written notification about debt: Debt collection

Portfolio Recovery Associates continues to furnish a collection account on my consumer reports that I dispute. I requested documentation sufficient to support the accuracy of the information being reported and the companys authority to furnish this account. I have not received documentation that resolves my dispute. Despite my dispute, the account continues to be reported, negatively affecting my credit profile. If Portfolio Recovery Associates can not substantiate the information it is furnishing after a reasonable investigation, it should not continue reporting the account. I am requesting CFPB assistance to resolve this matter because my attempts to obtain adequate documentation have not resolved the dispute.
