They claim on my credit report that this item is charged off, however I make timely payments on the account. Each payment I make extends the negative report time frame.
Am I better off, just NOT paying these liars?
I was financially strapped and applied to borrow $500.00. When I filled out the form, I thought it said I would be paying back $700.00. I have nothing but trouble logging into their website and when I finally was able to after paying back almost $1000.00, it said I still have several payments left. I will have payed almost $2000.00 when this is over. Only $19.00 of $120.00 is going to principal amount. These payments are happening every two weeks. I plan on blocking ACH withdraws from them but I also have to pay for that. I am lucky I didn't borrow more, but this is predatory lending no doubt.
I opened a Wells Fargo small business checking account and there was a $400.00 offer to open the account. I talked to the banker about how much I needed to fund in order to receive the bonus and funded that amount. The banker provided incorrect information and I was denied the bonus. Wells Fargo has not accepted responsibility for this and has refused to issue the bonus to me.
My statement includes an additional $220.00 in interest charges, but Citibank has not explained the basis for these charges or how they were calculated. I request a complete accounting of the remaining balance of $1800.00, including the principal amount, interest calculations, applicable APR, and the dates used to compute the interest.
There are collection accounts on my report that I believe contain inaccurate information. Under my rights pursuant to 15 USC 1681e ( b ) and 15 USC 1681i, I am entitled to an accurate credit report. I request a review of these entries, and if they can not be verified as accurate, I ask that they be removed.
I am reporting identity theft because accounts and/or debts were reported under my name that I did not authorize or create. I discovered these unauthorized accounts when reviewing my financial records and credit information. I dispute responsibility for these accounts because they were opened or used without my knowledge or permission.
Citis chat agents gave contradictory explanations, refused to provide transaction-specific records, and only submitted feedback rather than opening an investigation.
Today I I logged in online to make a payment for my new RV loan. I paid $300.00 instead of $210.00 on the loan I was under the impression that the remaining amount would go directly to Principal. Unfortunately this was not the case. It will go directly to interest. I called the company to ask how could I pay on Principal as you can not do it online. They told me that the only way that I could pay directly on Principal was to complete a form and send a check into their company through the mail. This unnecessary practice is obviously done to make it more difficult for individuals to pay on Principal and save money over the life of the loan. Please direct this company to make it as easy to pay on Principal as it is to make a payment on their website.
I am writing to formally dispute information contained in my ChexSystems consumer report. I believe the record is inaccurate because it resulted from identity theft and may also include reporting errors by the financial institution.
I did not authorize the activity associated with this record, and I request that ChexSystems conduct a thorough investigation under the applicable provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If the information can not be verified as accurate, I request that it be deleted from my consumer file immediately.
I have reason to believe that fraudulent activity may have led to this record being reported. If necessary, I am prepared to provide supporting documentation, including an identity theft report, police report, FTC Identity Theft Report, or other evidence supporting my claim.
Please provide me with the results of your investigation, including the name of the financial institution that reported the information and any documentation used to verify the record. If the information is found to be inaccurate or unverifiable, I request that it be removed from my ChexSystems report and that I receive an updated copy of my consumer report.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your written response.
Sincerely,
Im writing to file a complaint against IC SYSTEM INC for violating my consumer rights under 12 CFR 1006.34 and 15 USC 1681-s2 ( 7 ) ( A ). Theyve added an inaccurate account to my consumer report without giving me the required validation info, as outlined in 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ). On top of that, I havent been given a chance to dispute the account, which Im entitled to under 12 CFR 1006.34 ( c ) ( 4 ) ( i ). Overall, their actions are not only against federal regulations but also misleading and deceptive.
I wanted to start a savings account but they opened up a dual account instead. That made them flag my existing checking account and I have money in that account so now they locked my profile and I can't touch my money and I have my social security check going into the prior bank account Monday and I need to be able to get to my funds or I will be homeless.
I am very concerned about the items that are being shown on my credit report. Not only are they inaccurate, they are also unjust, because they should not be reporting on my credit report! I ask that you delete these accounts, or I will be filing a legal complaint against you!
To formally request that you cease and desist all communication with me regarding the above-referenced account.
Under the provisions of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), 15 U.S.C. 1692c ( c ), you are required to stop contacting me after receiving this written notice. Specifically, I am requesting that you stop all telephone calls, letters, emails, and any other forms of communication to my home, my workplace, or any third party.
A year ago, I applied for a credit card. I never received the card or any statements. Citi told me that I will received the results of my application via mail. I never received nothing.
I recently received a statement saying that I had an account with this company and that I was charge a suscription. I call immediately, and the Citi representative said that I need to pay even if I was not aware of the suscriptions or have the card with me. I tried to explain, that I never received the card, I also never use it or accept the terms.
I am filing this formal complaint against BMO Harris Bank due to severe billing discrepancies, lack of account transparency, and a strong suspicion of predatory, unverified hidden fees at the end of my auto loan term.
My car loan was established with a 72-month payment term. To date, I have successfully made 71 out of the 72 required payments.
However, BMO is currently claiming that I still owe a remaining balance of approximately $4000.00.
While I had previously utilized payment deferrals on this account, a remaining balance of $4000.00 at maturity is mathematically impossible under normal simple-interest accrual terms for a standard auto loan.
BMO has failed to provide a transparent, high-information breakdown or an itemized accounting ledger explaining how this balloon balance was calculated.
I suspect the bank is attempting to force me into paying unverified, hidden fees or has severely miscalculated the interest structure from my past deferred billing cycles.
I was forced to threaten legal action just to be escalated to a Manager. When looking directly at the transaction history, the manager was unable to explain or calculate how the remaining $4000.00 balance was derived.
They simply repeated that I had late fees and built up interest. I asked how that amounted to $4000.00, but they couldn't provide any mathematical connection. This proves the frontline staff couldn't verify their own accounting ledger, confirming my suspicions. I was put on hold for a long time with no explanation or any explanation of the connection.
I opened a Citi credit card account but never received the physical card in the mail. Because I never received the card, I never activated it and never used the account.
During my phone call with Citi, the representative confirmed that the card was never activated and that there were no purchases or other transactions on the account.
I also did not receive any billing statements or notice that an annual fee had been charged. I only became aware of the annual fee after it became past due.
I contacted Citi and requested that the annual fee, any related late fees and interest, and any negative credit reporting be removed because I never received, activated, or used the card. I also requested that the account be closed without penalty. Citi has not provided a satisfactory resolution.
I am requesting that Citi remove the annual fee and all related charges, correct any negative credit reporting associated with this issue, and close the account without penalty.
ALL my credit cards are blocked and restricted for NO REASON. Wells Fargo asked me to stop by a branch to provide the same documents again I have provided in the past.
I opened a dispute and I should be the one to say when it is closed not the company I am complaining about. Citi bank did not resolve the issue why are you letting them close the complaint. I have a detailed spreadsheet proving my point. Best buy shows my refund but Citi bank continues to bill me. I suspect fowl play here.
The attached Excel spreadsheet has 7 tabs, start with the summary tab, then def charges and then def charges details and then look at each year
I am writing to formally request debt validation for a collection account mentioned in a letter I recently received. Under my rights through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I ask that your office provide clear proof that the debt is valid. This should include the name of the original creditor, the amount owed, a full payment record, and proof that I am responsible for this debt.
I am making this request to ensure the information being reported is accurate and not the result of a mistake, fraud, or confusion. While waiting for proper validation, I ask that you pause all collection activity and reporting related to this account, as allowed by law.
Company 's name : Freedom Mortgage I enrolled in the companys biweekly mortgage payment program because the app represented it as a biweekly payment option. A reasonable consumer would understand this to mean that mortgage payments are transmitted to and applied by the mortgage servicer every two weeks.
After contacting customer service, I was informed that the company does not actually send payments every two weeks. Instead, it withdraws funds from my bank account every two weeks, holds those funds, and sends a single monthly payment to the mortgage servicer on the normal due date.
This material limitation was not clearly disclosed during enrollment. Had I known the payments were not actually being applied every two weeks, I would not have enrolled in the service because one of my primary goals was to reduce interest by lowering my principal balance sooner.
I believe the apps presentation of this feature is misleading and request that the company clearly disclose how the program actually works and provide any appropriate remedy if consumers were misled.
Received a card from NETSPEND that I did not request and when i went to cancel it they stated the information provided was not what was used to apply and i could not cancel it.
